Cambridge Who's Who Names Diane Walsh, President of Classique Translation Ltd., Entrepreneur of the Year in Language & Translation Services

OTTAWA, ON, CANADA, September 06, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Diane Walsh, President of Classique Translation Ltd., has been named a Cambridge Who's Who Entrepreneur of the Year in Language & Translation Services. While inclusion in the Cambridge Who's Who Registry is an honor, only a small selection of members in each discipline are chosen for this distinction. These special honorees are distinguished based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities, years of service, and the credentials they have provided in association with their Cambridge Who's Who membership.

After translating for employers for a number of years, Ms. Walsh decided to satisfy her desire to have her own business and launched Classique Translation Ltd. For the past three years, she has been translating English to French and French to English for a variety of clients. As a result of her coordination skills, she is able to handle a large volume of work while meeting her deadlines and delivering a quality product that remains true to the original message. Ms. Walsh's business has grown, leading her to move its operations from her home to an office. She has since navigated successfully through such complex aspects of entrepreneurship as human resources, business development and finance.

Ms. Walsh previously taught English as a second language and served as acting director of her language school in Trois-Rivières Ouest. She holds a certificate of bilingualism and a bachelor of arts degree, majoring in history and minoring in philosophy, from University of Alberta. Additionally, she is a candidate for certification in translation with The Association of Translators and Interpreters of Ontario, and a member of The Greater Nepean Chamber of Commerce.
