Cheryl K. Martin celebrates 30 years in the health care industry, with a record of continued growth

Modesto, CA, August 30, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Cheryl K. Martin, General Manager of Dale Commons Assisted Living Community, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in administrative operations.

General Manager of Dale Commons Assisted Living Community, Cheryl K. Martin specializes in leadership and people management. She manages a building with 98 apartments and an occupancy capacity of up to 110 residents whose ages currently range from 62 to 99. Cheryl meets with department heads, handles finances and leads the management team that supervises 60 employees. She became involved in her profession after gaining work experience as a nursing assistant; she attributes her success to determination, dedication, hard work, and learning valuable life lessons from the seniors she has provided care to over the years.

Ms. Martin received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Colorado Technical University, graduating summa cum laude with a 4.0 GPA, in 2007. She is a member of the League of Women Voters, the Modesto Rotary Club, and the California Assisted Living Association (CALA). In the future, she would like to attain a corporate position with duties of teaching and mentoring new executives; she plans to pursue an executive master of business degree.
