DENVER, CO, July 27, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- BMGI (http://www.bmgi.com), a market leader in building problem solving solutions, in keeping with its sweeping price reductions, has restructured its Master Black Belt Development (MBB) Program to make it simpler to pursue and achieve MBB Certification.
Master Black Belts drive the evolution of a company's Performance Excellence initiative. They are teachers, mentors, project leaders and implementation guides who oversee activities that help companies become self-sufficient in the planning and execution of a high quality performance management system. Being a capable Master Black Belt requires much more than teaching advanced statistical techniques. You also need to learn how to become a dynamic leader and change agent.
Considered one of the very best programs offered and having certified over 1,000 Master Black Belts to date, BMGI's program is now a simple $2,500 plus course fees.
Revised requirements for certification include:
- Completion of 20 days worth of advanced courses, which include: Advanced Six Sigma Tools, Advanced Lean, Design for Lean Six Sigma, Innovation Tools, Train-the-Trainer and Change Leadership. You may substitute up to five days worth of tools based courses for one advanced course, as long as those tools are not covered in BMGI's Black Belt and Green Belt courses.
- Passing BMGI's on-line Black Belt exam with a 90% or better score (note: for Black Belt and Green Belt certification BMGI will accept ASQ's exams as substitutes, for MBB certification, you must take BMGI's exam).
- Written recommendations from three people covering different perspectives: a manager (from above), a student/protege (from below) and a peer.
- Paper submission. This is normally an article or case study written for a publication or presented at a public conference.
