/Finance News Articles/ - Woodstock, GA, July 5, 2008, Thomas Kell, President of Soaring Eagle Investments, LLC, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of business counseling.

Mr. Kell has 36 years of experience in his field, during which he has become an expert in general management, sales, marketing, and investments. On a daily basis he is responsible for coaching executives, reviewing business profiles, organizing seminars and group training programs, consulting, and counseling.

Mr. Kell has owned and managed several service based businesses including financial services, real estate development, hospitality and entertainment industries. He served as President and Chairman of two Wisconsin Community Banks, a mortgage company, an insurance agency, and managed investment portfolios. He and his family also owned three restaurants, a movie theatre, a gift shop and a four-star B&B. Prior to these ventures, Mr. Kell held several high level management positions with Commercial Credit, Litton Industries, GE Medical Systems, Walter Heller, PBCC and ITT Financial. Mr. Kell was recruited as part of the initial team to form Pitney Bowes Credit Corporation. As a result of holding these positions of responsibility Mr. Kell has been involved in many interesting and unique ventures from providing financing for the start-up of Wendy's Hamburgers, to re-organizing the leasing operation of GE Medical and helping form and set up Pitney Bowes Credit.

In addition to holding a Bachelor's Degree from Mellen University and completing a graduate degree in banking at the University of Wisconsin Graduate School of Banking, he also completed a Ph.D. program at Hamilton in a self-directed course on finance. He has also completed many professional and continuing education courses to remain aware of changes and maintain his licenses in real estate, securities and financial management. Mr. Kell is currently or has been a member of the ABA, Wisconsin Community Bankers (as State Director), the National Association of Financial Planners, the International Association of Financial Executives, the Presidents Association, the Young Presidents Club, Wisconsin for Economic Development, the International Trade and Business Development Council, and the Governors Business Advisory Council.

Mr. Kell was appointed by the Governor of Wisconsin to represent the State of Wisconsin as a Commissioner on the Great Lakes Commission, and was also appointed as Director of the State Main Street program and as Commissioner on the Wisconsin Waterways Board. He also served as Chairman of the NW Regional Development Authority revolving loan fund. County Revolving loan fund and the Transportation Authority. He was named the Chamber of Commerce's Business Person of the Year and was nominated as Community Banker of the Year. He is currently a member of several advisory boards and President of Soaring Eagle Life, an executive and business coaching company. In addition to these successes, Mr. Kell has also experienced challenges as he worked his way through life. He attributes his success to his mental acuity and using life's challenges to grow in awareness and spirit.
